Earl Grey
One of our most popular offerings, our Earl Grey tea is a delicately scented blend of large leaf Indian black teas and citrusy oil of bergamot. This combination of robust tea leaves and flavoring from the Italian bergamot orange produces one of the world’s most popular afternoon teas.
Renowned for its citrus fragrance and light overall taste, our style of Earl Grey is the perfect tea for relaxing and unwinding. There are many variations of this classic tea offering, but ours has become a connoisseur’s favorite among scented teas.
Brewing Information
Brewing Tips: Our Earl Grey should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a rolling boil (205-212° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Earl Grey should be steeped for 4-5 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping. Decant and enjoy!
