Formosa Oolong
This style of semi-oxidized tea from Taiwan is known for its unique appearance and taste. Falling “in-between” green and black teas on the oxidation scale, Formosa Oolong's dark brown and noticeably twisted leaves produce a vibrant amber cup of tea when brewed.
Produced from carefully selected leaves from Taiwan’s mountainous tea growing regions, this tea has a distinctively sweet peach flavor and fruity aroma when brewed.
Brewing Information
Brewing Tips: Our loose leaf Formosa Oolong tea should be made with cold, filtered water that has been brought to a point just short of boiling (190-200° F). Using one rounded teaspoon of loose leaf tea or one teabag for each cup required, pour the boiling water over the tea leaves. Formosa Oolong tea should be steeped for 3-4 minutes. Once the ideal brewing time has been reached, the leaves should be removed to prevent further steeping. Decant your Formosa Oolong tea and enjoy!
